Hellish Quart Complete Move List Guide

Hellish Quart Complete Move List Guide

19.02.2021 0 By Butcher79

You are playing Hellish Quart: if you are looking for a list of game moves, then we have it. Here’s everything you need to know!

INTRODUCTION

Until the developers give us actual Move Lists in the Pause Menu, I made my own. It is currently a work-in-progress.

All button presses are shown as if you are using an XBox controller, or at least one with the same buttons, like the Logitech gamepad I use. They are also shown as if you are Player 1 on the left side of the screen.

I have highlighted the moves that I found to be most useful.

Add any suggestions you might have in the comments.

ALL CHARACTERS

When opponent does a low attack:

  • Punish (←Y or ←X): quickly pull your lead leg back, then high attack at the opponent’s head.

Long Guard (LT):

  • Low Swipe (B or A): short downward swipe, used to knock the opponent’s weapon away if they are also in Long Guard.

Close Range:

  • Hand Push (RT): push the opponent’s hand to create an opening.
  • Escape Hand Push (←←): if the opponent pushes your hand, quickly dash backwards to avoid their attacks.
  • Instant Kill (RB or LB): grab the opponent and kill them.
  • Escape Instant Kill (←): if the opponent grabs you, quickly press backwards to escape the grab.
  • Close Attack (Y, X, B, or A): punch, kick, or pommel-strike the opponent to create an opening.

GEDEON (SABER)

After certain attacks, Gedeon switches which foot he has forward, but unlike Isabelle most of his attacks are the same no matter which foot he has forward. In most cases, if he is left-foot forward and does a right attack then he’ll switch to right-foot forward, or if he is right-foot forward and does a left attack then he’ll switch to left-foot forward.
