Read this Borderlands 3 guide to know where to get cosmetic skins and heads for your character. Including emotes, Echo device themes, and more!
How To Get Skins
Purchase From Crazy Earl In Sanctuary
One of the easiest ways to get new skins for your character is to visit Crazy Earl in Sanctuary. He has a wide selection of heads, skins, emotes, and Echo themes that you can purchase for Eridium.
Rewards From Story Missions & Side Quests
Some main story missions and side missions reward you with skins. To get the rewards, make sure to turn in quest completion to the quest giver.
Enemy Drops & Loot
If you’re lucky, enemies can drop skins, heads, and Echo themes when they’re killed. The more you keep playing the game & defeating enemies, the more chances you’ll get an enemy to drop cosmetic items.
Earn Points In Vault Insider Program
The Vault Insider Program lets you earn points when you play the game or support Borderlands 3. If you earn enough points, you can redeem cosmetic skin rewards. The program also has its own codes to redeem more items with!
Redeem SHIFT Codes
In Borderlands 2, SHIFT Codes were used to give players new skins to make their characters stand out. It’s possible that this feature will also be available in Borderlands 3, though no codes for skins have yet to be revealed.
Where To Change Skins
Use Quick Change Machine To Change Skins
Quick Change machines you can find in bases and headquarters are the main ways to customize your character’s head, skin, emote, and Echo theme. Drop by a Quick Change machine if you want to switch your character’s looks up!
