The Metro newspaper interviewed concept artist Cyberpunk 2077 Dancers Martha (Marthe Junkers), which admitted that the game is no longer possible to choose the gender of your character when creating it.
The character creation editor, compared to the last demo, now contains more features. For example, you can no longer choose the gender of a character. You can’t just choose, “I want to be a woman or a man.” Now you choose the type of physique. We want you to feel free to create any character you want. It is also possible to choose the type of voice-male or female. You can mix and edit them as you wish. Also in the character editor there are many shades of skin, tattoos and hairstyles. We really want people to feel free when creating their character and playing for it.

In an interview with Martha Jonkers also said that developers are attentive to feedback, because they always want to know from the gaming community what else can be improved in the game. She noted that CD Projekt RED “wants to make a game that will be comfortable to play for everyone.”
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on 16 April 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
