Loop Hero Class Guide: How to Open a Rogue & a Necromancer

In Loop Hero, there are three classes that the player can unlock as they progress through the game’s chapters.

Each class has its own builds and battle tactics. In general, the essence of the game is that you spend time passing the loop, again and again fighting monsters and building a world. So to get a certain class, you need to spend some time playing the game, as well as spend some resources. At different stages of the game, the following classes become available: warrior, rogue and necromancer. To unlock the last two classes, you need resources. You can get them quickly enough, but you need to grind them. We have compiled a separate resource guide.

Warrior

This class is open by default: you start the game as a warrior. This class has no special advantages or disadvantages. The Warrior is the hardiest and most resilient class of all. For a second of combat, 2% is added to the damage.

  • Damage;
  • Damage to all;
  • Attack Speed;
  • Counterattack as a percentage;
  • Percentage turnaround;
  • Regeneration;
  • Vampirism;
  • Protection.

Rogue

The rogue receives the spoils after defeating the opponents and can then exchange them for equipment in the camp. It has +5% vampirism immediately after unlocking. For each equipped item with a certain property, it gets +10% to the same property. The class has the following additional characteristics:

  • Damage;
  • Damage to all;
  • Attack Speed;
  • Counterattack as a percentage;
  • Percentage turnaround;
  • Critical chance as a percentage;
  • Critical Damage percentage;
  • Protection.

Using the golden arsenal cards opens up the possibility to equip the helmet. Its main characteristic is damage return. This means that attacking opponents will receive damage equal to the indicator of this helmet characteristic.

How To Unlock The Rogue

To unlock the Rogue class, players will need to build two different structures at the camp. First, the Field Kitchen, which will give players access to the Blood Grove card, and improved healing when they pass the campfire. To build the Field Kitchen, players will need the following resources:

  • 3 Preserved Wood
  • 2 Preserved Stone
  • 1 Food Supply

After building the Field Kitchen, players will have access to the Refuge building, which can be built using the resources listed below. When the Refuge is completed, the Rogue class will become available:

  • 12 Preserved Wood
  • 2 Presever Stone
  • 4 Stable Metal
  • 7 Food Supply

Necromancer

The necromancer summons skeletons to fight in his place. The number and strength of skeletons depends on the equipment and skills of the owner.

To unlock the Necromancer, players will also need to build the Field Kitchen, but should already have that built from unlocking the Rogue class. After that, they will need to build the Gymnasium using the materials listed below:

  • 2 Stable Wood
  • 3 Preserved Stone
  • 6 Stable Metal
  • 1 Metamorphosis

This will allow them to build the Cemetary, for which they will need the following resources.

  • 4 Stable Wood
  • 14 Preserved Stone
  • 2 Stable Metal

Finally, they can build the final piece of the Necromancer puzzle, the Crypt, using the below resources. Doing so will unlock the Necromancer class, giving players access to the strongest class in the game:

  • 4 Stable Wood
  • 16 Preserve Stone
  • 9 Stable Metal
  • 1 Orb of Expansion

While it may seem like a lot of resources are required to get both classes, learning the various tile combinations that are available in Loop Hero will help players to rapidly farm resources in the first chapter, and they will have access to the Rogue and the Necromancer in no time.
