RTX 3070 Ti Flashed in the Specifications of the Finished PC

The RTX 3070 Ti was found on the list of ready-made Lenovo Legion PCs in a German retail store.

While they are hard to buy right now due to the constant issues with production capacity and cryptocurrency miners, if you want the best graphics card from Nvidia, then the RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 are the best options, given that the flagship RTX 3090 for $ 1,499 is quite a lot for most potential buyers. However, there may be another GPU in between in the near future.

We recently noticed the RTX 3070 Ti on the list of ready-made Lenovo Legion PCs in a German retail store. The specs show a card with 16GB of video memory – which is significantly more than the 3080 with 10GB, and that might make it interesting when it comes to performance tests compared to a higher-end card. This seems to be Nvidia’s trend: its upcoming 16GB 3060 will have 4GB more memory than its Ti sibling.

This amount of VRAM matches the AMD Radeon RX 6800 and 6900 series, which can increase the durability of the intended graphics card as games start to absorb more VRAM. So far, there has been little information about the RTX 3070 Ti, although the first mention of it appeared in September 2020, before the video card was again talked about in December in the EEC list and in the list of HP OEM drivers .

When it comes to the potential performance of the 3070 Ti, you can expect it to be somewhere between 3070 and 3080, but with its healthy VRAM service, it may be closer to the latest GPU than you might expect. On the other hand, although the 3080 has less VRAM, it also uses faster GDDR6X memory, whereas the 3070 Ti will probably use the slower GDDR6 RAM found in the 3070. And it doesn’t even take into account the number of CUDA cores. However, we will have to wait for the test results to get a better idea of it.

If this card hits store shelves, you can expect it to cost around $ 600, neatly sandwiched between the prices of its counterparts from $ 499 to $ 699. Although, if this card is due to be released in the next few months, good luck getting the card at a price close to its retail price, as we recently saw that the RTX 3060 costs twice as much as the recommended retail price before its launch.

There have been reports that the RTX 3070 Ti has been canceled, and Nvidia still has time to surprise us by announcing the RTX 3070 Super, but this latest leak just keeps the rumor mill going for now. While there is no official announcement from Nvidia about the card, we still can’t be sure if this card will be released.
